Neeya Naana’s Stray Dog Debate – A Disgrace on Tamil TV
The latest Neeya Naana episode on the stray dog issue was not just disappointing — it was a disaster. Vijay TV and Gopinath turned a sensitive subject into a circus of hypocrisy.
What shocked me most was Gopinath’s absurd statement:
If a child runs in front of a vehicle and causes an accident, it is not a mistake. But if a dog does the same, then it deserves condemnation!
Really? Is this the level of “logic” we get on a prime-time talk show? This isn’t debate — this is cheap sensationalism.
๐ด Why this episode was terrible:
-
It was biased and one-sided, with Gopinath openly ridiculing one panel.
-
The so-called dog lovers were made to look shallow, while genuine issues like sterilization, waste management, and public safety were completely ignored.
-
Instead of solutions, viewers were fed hate against strays and division between communities.
This show claims to represent “two sides of society.” But what we saw was a host shouting down people, spreading misinformation, and fueling anger. Is this the responsible journalism Tamil Nadu deserves?
The truth is clear:
1)Stray dogs are not the enemy.
2)Media like Neeya Naana are fanning flames instead of finding solutions.
๐ Gopinath owes the public an apology for his insensitive, biased, and cheap remarks. Vijay TV should be ashamed of letting such dangerous narratives air.
Tamil Nadu deserves better debates, not circus shows.
